Our mission

Forgeroot Academy exists to build resilient, productive agriculture in Africa by delivering practical training, applied research, and technology adoption. We train farmers, farm managers and technicians in soil health, crop production, post-harvest systems, mechanisation and agribusiness so farms and rural economies can scale sustainably.

What we do

• Certificate & diploma courses: Soil Health, Regenerative Farming, Farm Mechanisation, Post-Harvest Management.
• Advisory & field services: soil testing, farm planning, pilot projects and demonstrations.
• Applied research & incubation: agritech pilots, renewable energy for farming, small-tractor prototyping.
• Community extension: farmer field days, train-the-trainer programmes, micro-centre practical sessions.

Flagship program (Phase 1)

12-week Certificate in Soil Health & Regenerative Farming — hands-on sampling, lab diagnostics, nutrient budgeting, compost management and a field practicum. Practical learning on demonstration plots.
